Looking at these photos it still feels like this bride and her wedding day came straight out of a styled editorial. It didn’t. This is real, our real bride Amalia.
When we first met, Amalia spoke about how they wanted to create an intimate, bohemian day in a forest. Nothing over the top, just an amazing day with their closest family and friends celebrating in a way that is true to her and groom. She wanted the natural, organic elements to reflect in her dress and we found the perfect embroidered tulle to create a one-of-a-kind look. The pattern of the embroidery reminded us of leaves and foliage and we decided that the whole piece would be cut and separately appliquéd onto an illusion tulle. We both love polkadot mesh and when Amalia asked that we incorporate that we simply said YES! The multiple layers of tulle on the skirt of the dress created a soft, sheer look while the polkadots added a playful, whimsical element. We loved it, and still do!
